Monkeypox Cases in India: Another patient of monkeypox has been found in Delhi. The patient has been admitted to Loknayak Jaiprakash Hospital (LNJP Hospital). It is being said that the record of the patient’s foreign travel has been found. Another patient of monkeypox is being treated in the same hospital. With this new patient, the number of confirmed cases of monkeypox in India increased to five. Three people were found infected with this virus in Kerala. At the same time, a suspected patient is undergoing treatment in Telangana. His sample has been sent to the lab in Pune.
The 34-year-old man, who was earlier admitted to Delhi’s LNJP Hospital with monkeypox, had not traveled abroad but did travel domestically. His condition is currently said to be stable. At the same time, the suspected patient found in Telangana had recently traveled to Kuwait. On July 20, he complained of fever and rashes appeared on his body. After this he was admitted to the hospital in Kamareddy district. The result of his sample from Pune is yet to come.
