At the same time, giving relief to the Gupta family, residents of Shiv Vihar Colony of the city, a correct bill of Rs 1,300 has been issued to them.

The person fell ill after seeing the electricity bill of crores

Priyanka Gupta’s husband Sanjeev Kankane says that her father fell ill after seeing crores of rupees on the electricity bill for domestic consumption for July. According to Sanjeev Kankane, the bill issued on July 20 was found to be correct after cross-checking through the portal of Madhya Pradesh Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company.

Electricity department corrected the mistake

The MPMKVVC, taking cognizance of the matter, later rectified the bill and issued their correct bill of Rs 1,300 to the family. In the case, MPMKVVC General Manager Nitin Manglik blamed human error for the huge amount printed in the electricity bill and said that action has been taken against the employees concerned.
