Ranbir Kapoor also appeared in the role of Street Fighter in the film ‘Bombay Velvet’. Farhan Akhtar also played the role of a street fighter i.e. boxer in last year’s film ‘Toofan’. Similarly, there were many films of South, in which street fighting and boxing were made an important part. Street fighting was seen in the film ‘National Geet’. At the same time, the Tamil film ‘Vandu’, which came in 2019, was completely based on street fighting.

Only one Hindi film on street fighting in last 5 years
If we look at all the films made on street fighting in Bollywood in the last few years, except ‘Mukkabaaz’, most of them have had a very bad fate. Perhaps this was the reason that in the last five years (since 2017 till now), only one film ‘Toofan’ was made on street fight and boxing and that too flopped badly. In such a situation, no one thought it right to make a film on the same subject again. But now Karthik Aryan is going to be a street fighter in a film. It is reported that he has also started preparing for this role.

Liger raised hopes of Bollywood people
But now the era of street fighting has returned once again in the South through ‘Liger’ and it has once again raised hopes in Bollywood as well. Now Bollywood people also want to get into street fighting once again. Do you know what will happen this time? Actually Bollywood has been following the trend of South cinema somewhere. In the last few years, the flavor of films made in the South, similar flavors are being seen in Hindi films somewhere. The latest example of this is Ranbir Kapoor’s film ‘Shamshera’. On seeing the trailer of the film, people told it to be a mixture of two South films ‘KGF’ and ‘Pushpa’. Some even said that this film is ‘KGF Ka Baap’.

Remakes of each other’s films are being made in South and Bollywood
There have been many such films of South, which were remade in Bollywood. Similarly, there were many Bollywood films, which were dubbed in other languages in the South. ‘Thalaiva’ Rajinikanth has done hit remakes of many films of Amitabh Bachchan in his career. It is said that if Rajinikanth became a big star, then Amitabh Bachchan had a hand in it. In such a situation, if Bollywood once again follows the footsteps of South and makes a film on street fighting, then what is wrong?
The condition of films made on street fighting in South
All the films on street fighting and boxing that have been made in the South so far have got a decent response at the box office. Be it Venkatesh’s ‘Guru’ or Kichcha Sudeep’s ‘Wrestler’. Now Vijay Deverakonda has returned as Street Fighter in ‘Liger’. Vijay Deverakonda has also impressed the fans in his fast paced action and utterly rustic look. In such a situation, the desire has started to shake in the hearts of Bollywood filmmakers that films should be made on street fighting and boxing. Karan Johar is presenting Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger in the Hindi belt. He has also invested money in this film. Now it remains to be seen whether the film that Kabir Khan is bringing on street fighting can show the wonders.

Will Karthik Aryan be able to show his stamina?
Apart from Vineet Kumar Singh, not a single Bollywood actor has been able to show amazing by becoming a street fighter. It remains to be seen how successful Karthik Aryan will become as ‘Street Fighter’. After the success of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, Kartik Aaryan has got many film offers. Till now people must have seen him doing light roles and romancing on screen, but now for the first time he will be seen doing action.
