Education in Assam got a major hit. As the state is a educational powerhouse. As today Assam Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday said that the state can’t direct online assessments as the greater part of the understudies are from poor monetary foundations and come up short on the essential prerequisites of an online assessment.
This is not just a problem in the state. But also around the country. The Education Minister stated, “It will be troublesome in Assam to lead online assessments. There are numerous helpless understudies without assets fundamental for an online test”.
“For explicit courses like clinical and building with proficient understudies who know about the framework, online tests might be conceivable. Be that as it may, BA, MA college tests can’t be led online as these include an enormous number of understudies,” Mr. Sarma included.
The priest further said that a blended method of the test on the web and disconnected — with a possibility for applicants without assets to sit for a disconnected assessment, can be useful. The ongoing UGC rules have educated colleges to lead last year assessments in on the web, disconnected, or mixed (on the web and disconnected) mode before the finish of September. Conducting last year college tests according to the UGC rules has not been generally welcomed in Assam. The notice that UGC gave yesterday have create lots of doubts in students mind.
