Selection Criteria of Navy MR Recruitment

The selection of candidates for the Navy MR Recruitment follows a three-stage process:

Stage-I: INET (Indian Navy Entrance Test)

  • Shortlisting: Conducted based on marks obtained in INET, with state-wise shortlisting.
  • Type of Exam: Computer Based Examination
  • Medium of Exam: Hindi and English
  • Total Marks: 50 Marks
  • Number of Questions: 50 MCQs
  • Duration: 30 Minutes
  • Syllabus: Science & Mathematics and General Awareness
  • Negative Marking: One-fourth (0.25) of the marks will be deducted for wrong answers.

Stage-II: Written Exam, PFT, and Initial Medical

  • Physical Fitness Test:
    • Male: 1.6 KM in 6:30 Minutes, 20 Squats, 12 Push-ups
    • Female: 1.6 KM in 8 Minutes, 15 Squats, 10 Bent Knee Sit-ups
  • Initial Medical Examination: Conducted after PFT, candidates deemed “Provisionally fit.”

Stage-III: Final Medical Examination

  • Conducted at INS Chilka for selected candidates.
