NIOS D.El.Ed course now valid for Teacher Recruitment: HRD Minister, Check Official Order: The National Council of Teachers (NCTE) has decided to maintain parity between D.El.Ed courses taken through NIOS and any other NCTE accredited institution for the purpose of employment.
“The Hon’ble Patna High Court has ruled to maintain parity between D.El.Ed courses taken through NIOS and D.El.Ed obtained from any other NCTE recognized institution for employment purposes,” tweeted HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’.

An official notice said, “It has come to your notice that the NCTE has decided to uphold the judgment of the joint Patna High Court relating to Sanjay Kumar Yadav and Urs, v. Bihar and Urs states.”
The notice further states that “this decision has been taken in accordance with the appropriate instructions of the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Please take responsibility for any further necessary steps in this regard.”
