He conveyed his decision to his team Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Friday.The veteran cricketer became the second player out CSK IPL 2020 after Suresh Raina for personal reasons. While Raina flew to India from UAE, Harbhajan remained in India.
“I informed the management of CSK about my decision to withdraw from the IPL this year. I decided to take a break for personal reasons in these difficult times. I think everyone would respect my need for privacy “, said Harbhajan news agency PTI. In total, 13 members of the CSK team tested positive for coronavirus, including Bowler Deepak Chahar average pace, raising security concerns before the IPL from September 19.
