The University of Cotton is set to launch an undergraduate program in athletic personality – the first of its kind in the region of this academic session. Son of the Vice Chancellor of CU Prof. Bhabesh Ch. Goswami, this general Bachelor’s program is intended to offer the region’s high-achieving athletes the much-needed flexibility to continue their training along with their athletic careers.
“This course enables worthy local athletes to continue their tertiary education at the University of Cotton along with their sports careers,” said VK.
“He will follow a mentoring model with sufficient flexibility to be applied by mentors with a comfortable student interaction schedule,” he added.
This course is designed as a general undergraduate degree and seeks to meet the needs of athletes. As a basic flexibility, it is designed so that students can later obtain a master’s degree in the desired subject selected as a specialized book during the undergraduate program.
This course consists of 120 credits with 20 credits each over 6 semesters. The minimum duration of the program is 3 years.However, enrolled students have the flexibility to extend their studies for up to 6 years in order to successfully complete the course.
