Eligibility Criteria

Educational Requirements

Applicants must hold an M.A or M.Sc. degree in Geography with a specialization in GIS and Remote Sensing, securing at least 50% marks.

Specializations and Skills

Preferred Skills:

1. Additional course completion in GIS and Remote Sensing from a recognized institute.
2. Proficiency in Remote Sensing and GIS tools like ArcMap and ERDAS Imagine, and programming languages such as R and Python.
3. Basic statistical knowledge, including trend estimates, logistic and probit models, and forecasting techniques using SPSS or R software.
4. Discipline, high motivation, and strong work ethic.
5. Evidence of publication in reputable journals indexed in WoS or Scopus (if any).
