Congress leaders made strategy in Delhi regarding Himachal elections

Himachal Pradesh Assembly Elections: Congress leaders brainstormed for several hours in Delhi to chalk out a strategy for the Himachal Pradesh elections to be held later this year. In which newly appointed senior supervisor Bhupesh Baghel, supervisor Sachin Pilot, Pratap Singh Bajwa, in-charge Rajiv Shukla, state president Pratibha Singh along with about a dozen leaders of the state attended. Congress is going to start unemployment journey in the entire state from July 27. Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel will visit Shimla on 7 August.
Describing inflation and unemployment as the biggest issue after the meeting of Congress leaders, Rajiv Shukla said that people are troubled by the policies of the BJP government. On the question of the Chief Minister’s face, Shukla said that Congress will fight the elections under collective leadership. At the same time, he also claimed to win two-thirds of the seats.
Congress claims to win more than 50 seats
State President Pratibha Singh said that the leaders of Himachal apprised the party observers about the ground level issues. He said that in the coming days, big faces of the party will be seen campaigning. Pratibha Singh claimed that the Congress would be able to win more than 50 seats.
Himachal Pradesh assembly election preparations begin
Only a few weeks ago, the top leadership of the Congress had posted a national office bearer in each district of Himachal Pradesh. In the last election held in 2017 in the 68-member Himachal Pradesh Assembly, the Congress had won only 21 seats and was forced to oust it, but with the results of last year’s by-polls, the party is confident of a comeback. However, this time he will have to face another challenge in the form of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
