Xi Jinping Congratulates Droupadi Murmu: Chinese President Xi Jinping has congratulated Draupadi Murmu, who was sworn in as the President of India. Congratulating Xi Jinping on Monday, he said that he is ready to work closely with the two countries to enhance mutual political trust and resolve differences. Jinping said in his congratulatory message that China and India are each other’s important neighbors. Both the countries will work together to resolve differences and work towards development.
Chinese President Xi Jinping further said that strong China-India relations are conducive and necessary for the fundamental interests of the citizens of both countries, as well as for peace, stability and development in the region and around the world.
Xi Jinping congratulates President Draupadi Murmu
According to the report of China’s official news agency Xinhua, President Xi Jinping said that he attaches great importance to China-India relations. Along with this, he said that he is ready to work closely with President Draupadi Murmu towards strengthening bilateral ties besides enhancing mutual political trust and resolving differences between the two countries.

Apart from Xi Jinping, Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe, who was in economic troubles, also congratulated Draupadi Murmu on becoming the President. Draupadi Murmu took the oath of office and secrecy as the country’s 15th President in the Central Hall of Parliament on Monday. Chief Justice of India N. V. Raman administered the oath of office to him.
