Bribe Case: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a Regional Labor Commissioner posted in Central Zone, Jaipur, for accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000. Several incriminating documents have been claimed to have been found from the premises of the accused during the raids conducted after the arrest. According to CBI Spokesperson RC Joshi, the name of the arrested Regional Labor Commissioner is Giriraj Verma who is posted in Jaipur.
It is alleged that a complainant had given a complaint against this Regional Labor Commissioner to the Anti-Corruption Branch of the CBI. It was said in this complaint that the complainant has his own private firm. For this private firm, he had applied for issuance of labor license in the said office.
Was asking for 50 thousand to issue license
It is alleged that this officer was demanding a bribe of Rs 50,000 in exchange for the issuance of labor license. According to the complainant, his firm is engaged in the business of providing employees on contract basis to IDBI Bank. Based on the complaint, the CBI conducted a preliminary inquiry into the matter.
Arrested red handed with a bribe of 25 thousand
After finding important facts during this investigation, a case was registered against the said officer under various criminal sections and the officer who was taking bribe of ₹ 25000 was arrested red-handed. have done. After the arrest, raids were conducted on his premises from where the CBI has claimed to have found incriminating documents. The arrested accused will be presented before the Special Court of CBI.
