On June 30, Eknath Shinde took oath as the Chief Minister.

Eknath Shinde was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra on 30 June. After about a month, now the cabinet is being expanded. Earlier, the opposition parties are targeting the Shinde government. The Maharashtra cabinet may not have been expanded for a month, but the Shinde government has issued more than 751 government orders during this period. Of these, more than 100 orders pertain to the health department only. Earlier, the Maha Vikas Aghadi government led by party chief Uddhav Thackeray had issued 182 government orders within four days only after the Shivsena revolt.

The current government has been the target of the opposition

Shinde’s government has also been the target of the opposition for not expanding the cabinet after the formation of the government. The NCP and Congress have repeatedly targeted the Shinde government for not expanding the cabinet. The formula prepared by Shinde faction for cabinet expansion is going to prove to be effective. According to sources, in this formula it is mentioned that which party will get how many ministerial posts. BJP has to decide on this formula.
