BJP leader Kirit Somaiya said ‘Sanjay Raut will become Nawab Malik’s neighbor on Arthur Road’

Patra Chawl Land Scam: Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials on Sunday detained Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut after a search and questioning at his residence in Mumbai. The Shiv Sena leader was summoned twice by the ED for questioning in a money laundering case, but he did not appear. This morning ED officials reached his residence in Mumbai and took him into custody after about 9 hours of interrogation. Political reactions are also coming out on this.

BJP leader Kirit Somaiya made a big claim that after Sanjay Pandey, scamster Sanjay Raut is now in the custody of ED. If all these things come out about whom Sanjay Raut met in Dubai, then Sanjay Raut will get the privilege of becoming Nawab Malik’s neighbor on Arthur Road. Sanjay Raut will have to give an account. Earlier, he said that I am happy that Mumbai Police has agreed to register an FIR in the audio CD, threat letter case of Sanjay Raut. Also, the police has now provided security to Swapna Patkar.

ED searches Sanjay Raut’s house

Let us tell you that at 7 am today, the team of the investigating agency along with CISF officials reached Sanjay Raut’s house in Bandup, an eastern suburb of Mumbai. The ED wants to interrogate the transactions related to Sanjay Raut, his wife and close associates in the Patra Chawl redevelopment fraud case in Mumbai. On the other hand, Sanjay Raut has denied any wrongdoing and alleged that he is being targeted for political vendetta. During this, a large number of Shiv Sena workers had gathered outside Raut’s residence, raising slogans against the ED and the BJP.

The questioning took place for the first 10 hours

Earlier, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut was questioned by the ED for about 10 hours on July 1. During this, his statement was recorded under criminal sections of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. In April, the Enforcement Directorate had attached assets worth over Rs 11.15 crore of Sanjay Raut’s wife Varsha Raut and two of his associates as part of its probe.
