Big allegation of BJP leader – All studios built in Madh area illegal, Uddhav government did a big scam

Maharashtra Politics: After the change of power in Maharashtra, the BJP is getting aggressive about the alleged scam of the then Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government. BJP leader Kirit Somaiya has alleged that MLA from Malad West and minister in the then Thackeray government Aslam Sheikh, the environment department of the then government and the Mumbai Municipal Corporation were in collusion. By breaking the rules, land mafia was benefitted in the Madh area of ​​Malad and permission was given to build illegal film studios on the seaside land.

The Madh area of ​​Malad, situated in the suburb of Mumbai, is famous for film shooting, film TV serial studio, old actors’ bungalow. Even just 20 feet of land in the Marh area situated on the sea shore is worth crores. There are hundreds of film studios in this area, where music videos, films and TV serials are shot. BJP leader Kirit Somaiya has alleged that, during the Corona lockdown, dozens of illegal film studios were built in this area.

Hundreds of crores of corruption has happened on fake documents
Kirit Somaiya alleges that, on the basis of a fake document, illegal film studios were built in CRZ (No Development Zone) by breaking the rules and illegal construction works were done here. At first these film studios were said to be temporary and after July 2021, it was said to be disbanded. However, on the basis of false documents, the studios are still present and shooting is going on here.

Due to this, corruption of hundreds of crores has happened during the tenure of the then Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi government. Permission was given to build a temporary studio or film set for 6 months in connivance with the local MLA, Environment Department and Mumbai Municipal Corporation. This permission was given in February 2021 and whose validity was only till July 2021. According to the allegation, being in the CRZ area, sea waves also hit the studios and the BMC has allowed the studio to continue for now on the basis of a fake document.

Kirit Somaiya told that, he and MP Gopal Shetty have complained about corruption of this crores to Environment Department, Mumbai Police, Enforcement Directorate and demanded legal action. Kirit Somaiya has made very serious allegations against Aslam Sheikh. ABP News tried to know the side of former minister Aslam Sheikh but his side has not been found yet.
