Assam Special TET For SSA Contractual Employees 2021:

This is for general information for all concerned that a Special TET for Lower Primary Level will be conducted for contractual employees (intending to appear in Special TET) engaged from time to time under various interventions of SSA, Assam / presently working under various interventions on contractual basis under SSA, Assam (except the TET qualified contractual teachers/State Pool teachers working under SSA) having requisite qualifications as per NCTE norms for appearing in TET. Special LP TET for Contractual Employees are requested have the updated information.

In this connection, all such intending candidates (as stated above) are requested to collect one Unique !D from respective District Mission Office of Sarba Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) during office hours (except holidays).

Eligibility Criteria of SSA Assam Special TET

A. Candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.

B. Candidates who had worked/are presently working under various interventions of SSA, Assam and who were issued Unique ID from the districts and having minimum academic & professional qualification as follows:

Minimum Marks for qualifying in Special TET

A candidate is required to score at least 60% i.e. 90 marks out of 150 to qualify the Teachers’ Eligibility Test(TET). However, for SC/ST (Hills)/ST(Plain)OBC/MOBC/PWD (PH), there will be relaxation of 5 %. Thus, for these candidates, qualifying score will be 55% i.e. 83 oul of 150.

As candidates having requisite qualifications as per NCTE norms will be eligible to appear in the Special TET, the intending candidates are requested to collect the Unique ID, only if they possess the requisite qualifications as per NCTE norms.
