Andrea Radrizzani has put his money where his mouth is and backed Leeds United to stay in the Premier League this transfer window. This is the opinion of the chief executive Angus Kinnear who drew a line under the first window of the kingdom since his return to the Premier League yesterday. The four major additions came in the form of Rodrigo, Robin Koch, Diego Llorente and Raphinha, but do not overlook the first results of Hélder Costa Meslier Illan and Jack Harrison too. After making a nine-figure investment through first team and academy, Kinnear believes it is clear Radrizzani has done what he can for whites to assert itself in the first division.
“We have strengthened Andrea willing to invest seriously in our Premier League status and we are not here just to make up,” he said. Kinnear said the club was very happy with the window as a whole, especially football director Victor Orta mode and coach Marcelo Bielsa were able to work together on goals.
