37 dead till now in Assam Floods

An authority of ASDMA said the flood-hit areas are – Dhemaji, Biswanath, Chirang, Darrang, Nalbari, Barpeta, Kokrajhar, Dhubri, Nagaon, Golaghat, Jorhat, Dibrugarh, South Salmara, Goalpara, Kamrup, Kamrup (Metro), Morigaon, and Tinsukia. Around 11 lakh individuals in 1,412 towns were kept on hitting by the rainstorm floods and more than 53,348 hectares of harvest territories were seriously influenced because of the floods.

Around 6,531 individuals, including ladies and youngsters are as yet shielded in 171 alleviation camps, said an ASDMA official said. The National Disaster Response Force, Assam State Disaster Response Force staff, alongside the nearby organization, are ceaselessly attempting to safeguard the influenced individuals and render help administrations, including dispersion of alleviation material to the marooned townspeople.
