The death rate is climbing in Assam. Three additional people in Assam passed on of COVID-19 on Friday, taking the state count to 35. The perished have been recognized as Ashok Jain (63), Vinod Kumar (47), and Dipali Dutta (65). The three were admitted to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). They had extreme pneumonia and were on obtrusive ventilation.
Sad & anguished to inform that 3 #COVID patients – Sri Ashok Jain (63) of Athgaon, Sri Vinod Kumar (47) of Jalukbari & Mrs Dipali Dutta (65) of Sarumataria admitted at GMCH succumbed to their infection today. They had severe pnuemonia & were on invasive ventilation.

In a tweet, state wellbeing clergyman Himanta Biswa Sarma stated, “Dismal and anguished to illuminate that 3 #COVID patients – Sri Ashok Jain (63) of Athgaon, Sri Vinod Kumar (47) of Jalukbari and Mrs Dipali Dutta (65) of Sarumataria conceded at GMCH capitulated to their disease today. They had extreme pneumonia and were on intrusive ventilation.”Earlier on the day, five people capitulated to the disease including an IRBn havildar.A
