Construction of nine schools for Women to be held in Assam in the next 45 days. The same was announced at a press conference by Minister of State Himanta Biswa Sarma on 12 September. Schools will be built in Cachar, Karimganj, Hailakandi, Barpeta, Nagaon, Goalpara, Darrang, bilasipara, and Golakganj areas of Assam.
A sum of Rs. 303.3 million rupees has been approved by the government of the state for the same and the detailed project reports (DPR) have already been prepared.Six degree schools they are more than constructed before December 31. These are to be established as Sonitpur, Tinsukia, Majuli, Chirang, Udalguri and Baska at the cost of Rs. 100 crores. In addition, law schools Diez also be established in the state in Diphu, Dibrugarh, Tezpur, Silchar, North Lakhimpur, Rangia, bilasipara, Tihu, Raha, and Jorhat, the construction of which they are to start before 31 December.
